Happy Birthday Dan!

as a birthday tribute, here is a video we made one sunday afternoon when we lived in logan.

dan mentioned donating his beard to locks of love (for those poor prepubescent kids who can't grow beards), but i didn't know he was serious.

what does elastigirl have on me?

my husband, dan, has a few secret crushes (that aren't so secret anymore).

1. jovie from elf. not zooey deschanel, but jovie.
2. j.t. the traffic girl on x96. he has never seen her, but thinks she sounds hot.
3. elastigirl.

so i guess this means that deep down he would love it if i would wear an elf outfit while talking about traffic issues and stretching? i don't know. help me out.

he really said this

dan: "don't you love our house? If I wanted to poo in the corner I could."

yep, that's my husband. he's excited about owning our own house. so i guess if you come over, steer clear of the corners just in case.

dan: "a lot of things are going to be different when i get lasik surgery."

me: "like what?"

dan: "well, right now when get up i have to shower then put in my contacts, if i want to wear them."

me: "so when you get eye surgery you never have to shower again?"

dan: "yep."

when you're there, i sleep lengthwise and when you're gone i sleep diagonal in my bed.

happy divali

saturday we went to the divali festival at the krishna temple. the guy was talking about being nice to cows and being vegetarian and so on and dan made a comment about a girl wearing a fur coat, and how it probably is not the most appropriate attire. then on the way home he realized that he had worn his leather jacket.
